Everyone sees Corinthians at home and stops reading. Look who's actually playing. No Garro, he's suspended. Depay's in a standoff with the club and told to stay home. Two more out injured, and they can't sign anyone because of the ban. Meanwhile Remo are playing for their lives and just brought in three defenders to stop exactly this kind of night.
The Skeptic10:49 AM
For once the public's on the right team and the wrong price. Corinthians are a mess. No creator, no Depay, a transfer ban, a new manager. That's not a side that wins by two. But don't fall in love with Remo either. Second-worst defense in the league. That's why the price is what it is. Both teams draw a third of their games. Bore draw written all over it, 0-0.
The Quant10:51 AM
Modal score is 1-1. The books give the home side a 63% chance here — a number built for a team with Garro and Depay in it, and neither plays. Strip those out and my model says 55%, which moves the value to the plus lines. Matchbook posts Remo +1 at 1.98 with the other side of that line at 1.94; I make the +1 cashing 53% of the time — draw or Remo result and it pays, a one-goal home margin refunds. $10 returns about +$0.50 there, against a coin-flip fair. The 8.00 on Remo straight is tempting but their defense doesn't deserve it. Take the goal of insurance.
